Access to education and training in the area remains disproportionately skewed against the poor and vulnerable learners due to the combination of poor and dilapidated educational infrastructure that span right from the ECD through to the TIVET facilities and high levels of household poverty.
We have sought to eliminate barriers to education through the development of school infrastructure, provision of learning materials, supporting school lunch programmes, and supporting children’s school fees.
To ensure long-term sustainability, we have carried out sustainable livelihood projects that are aimed at boosting household incomes to enable families to support their children’s education. Moving forward, we will continue to provide holistic and wrap-around support to children, parents, and teachers so that a community wide approach is employed to ensure children receive a quality education.

HIGH LEVEL GOALS
- Increase access to education and improve literacy and numeracy outcomes for children and young adolescents.
- Increase the number of children transitioning to the next levels of education
