For over two decades, EDCA has partnered with communities in Makueni and Kajiado Counties to advance the well-being of children and families. Through locally driven solutions, we continue to create lasting change, strengthen resilience, and build a foundation for a sustainable present and future.

Empowering Communities Through Key Initiatives
Our work in child protection ensures that children grow up in safe, nurturing environments. Through education programs, we support access to quality education for children. Our food security and livelihood initiatives strengthen families’ self-reliance and resilience. Promotion of access to clean water and safe water, and sensitization on good hygiene practices, support healthy communities, while our health and nutrition initiatives safeguard the well-being of both children and caregivers. In response to the growing climate crisis, our climate action work empowers communities to adopt climate-smart practices, advocacy, and policy engagement for environmental protection and sustainability. Together, these initiatives build stronger foundations for present and future generations.
